How I shop: product descriptions
Every Amazon book description and probably 80% of app descriptions I come across are tl;dr. Sound bites from “celebrity” reviewers are universally worthless and are ignored with the most extreme prejudice. Instead, I read the first couple sentences, look at every screenshot, and the best and worst reviews and make up my mind from that.
